Most of arcs flashes are caused by
human error, deterioration of insulation,
or wear of protection equipment.
Exposure to arcs flashes can produce
several types of serious injuries including
death, in some cases. Moreover, the
costs associated with treating and
rehabilitating a worker can exceed
$1 000 000.
